We have been advised that the construction crews will not be able to continue working overnight, and will have to come back at 9AM tomorrow (the 23rd) to continue working on replacing the pole. Once the pole has been replaced, then fiber crews can begin replacing the cable and splicing it in.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
We have been able to establish connectivity via a tertiary provider. This connectivity is limited, so full speeds are not to be expected until at least one of our primary providers has restored service and latency is expected to be higher then normal.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
Upon further clarification, Lumen was mistaken on the location/issue and got two fiber cuts mixed up in their status updates. Both providers are on the same utility pole locally. Unfortunately the entire 108 count cable will need to be completely replaced. This is a significantly more involved repair then initially thought, and requires a decent amount of construction. There is no ETTR at this time.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
The OTDR's from both providers are showing different locations. One provider (Uniti/Windstream) has located the fault on a utility pole that someone drove in to. The utility company is replacing the utility pole, and then Uniti/Windstream can begin splicing/repairing fiber. The other provider (Lumen) has located a fault in their network that appears to be underground. Construction teams are enroute to begin excavation for the Lumen fault and then splicing/repair can commence.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
All upstream providers now have technicians onsite and are proceeding with OTDR tests to determine the exact location of the fault. There is not ETTR from any provider at this time.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
All upstream providers have confirmed that they have engaged the appropriate crews, and dispatches have been coordinated. There is no ETTR at this time, once we receive one we will be sure to update the status.

We have confirmed that the fiber providers in the building have lost some connectivity. We have contacted all of our upstreams, and all are dispatching crews. There is local construction occurring, our suspicion is that a fiber duct may have been hit that has a local convergence point we were unaware of. Updates will be posted as available.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
Onsite technicians have checked to ensure there are no physical onsite issues, and we are currently investigating network operations. Updates will follow shortly.
- UpdateUTCUpdateUTC
We are currently investigating a service disruption affecting a small number of customers at our New York location. Technicians have been dispatched to investigate the issue. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
